development program

The course is

corporate world and

The programme aims
at a gradual
progression from
basic English
training to the
development of
job-related skills.
It is a continuous
process conducted on
a regular basis for
the entire course
duration. It also
takes into account
the absorption and
assimilation
competencies of the

purpose of this

develop survival
skills and emotional
quotient (EQ) of the
students. Today, the
selection criteria
banks heavily on
high EQ of the
candidates.
Personality
enhancement of a
candidate revolves
around three main
factors:
communication
ability, confidence
and conviction.
UIT runs personality
development program
as an integral part
of its academic
curriculum. This
program is conducted
by an expert team of
corporate
soft-skill trainers.
The course content
of this program
consists of training
in group discussion,
teaching the
interview
techniques,
personality grooming
and honing
communication
skills. There is a
great emphasis in
inculcating positive
attitude, a pleasing
body language and
etiquettes. The
course continues for
the entire term
period with no extra
cost to the
students.
AWARENESS
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Students of every
section in all
branches of B.Tech
and MBA have to
attend three
training
session per week to
hone their
personality and
inter-personal
skills. A good
personality with
excellent
communication skills
opens door for
infinite career
opportunities.
Academic excellence
and strong project
work are important
for any education
program but there is
more to assessing
the progress of
students then just
the marks. UIT
stresses upon
building work ready
individuals who have
the required

A lot of emphasis is laid on speaking in English
in the campus.
We have experienced professional communication
faculty to teach our students, specially those
coming from Hindi medium background, to speak
good English.

believe that fluency in spoken and
written English is essential for a rewarding
career.
During the professional communication classes it
is compulsory for the students to converse in
English and have creative interaction with the
faculty. It has been observed that with
persistent encouragement the diffident students
overcome their inhibitions and gain confidence.
