Frequency of the Board Meetings and Academic Advisory Body :
Annual
Nature and Extent of involvement of
faculty and students in academic
affairs/improvements:
The faculty and students are actively
involved in the academic affairs of the
institute. The faculty members hold
staff meeting once every month wherein
they discuss ongoing academic affairs of
the institute and suggest improvements.
The student coordinators of all the
classes and sections are asked to give
their suggestions for improvement of the
academic affairs. The suggestion given
by the faculty members and class
coordinators are positively considered
by the management and necessary
improvements are immediately made in
furtherance of the academic culture of
the institution towards excellence.
Mechanism/Norms & Procedure for
Democratic/good governance:
The Management, Director, Faculty
Members and Students jointly and
severally resolve day to day problems
and evolve methods and modalities for
effective governance of the institution
to generate efficiency in its overall
functioning. The governing body monitors
and oversees the functioning of the
institute.
Student Feedback on Institutional
Governance/Faculty Performance:
The students hold the highest stake in
enhancing the quality of teaching and
learning process. Their involvement
yields substantial personal returns on
their investment of time and effort
during their learning phase, besides
creating an enduring bond with their
institution in later life. It is an
irrefutable conclusion that all high
quality institutions have genuine
student participation in improving the
key institutional processes. Student
feedback on infrastructure and faculty
performance is obtained on regular basis
and are analyzed to make suitable
improvements in the infrastructure and
to impart counseling to the teaching
faculty to improve upon their short
comings, if any, reported by the
students. The institute is certified by
BSI Management System with ISO 9001-2008
for meticulously observing quality
standards. The ISO norms provide for
students feedback, faculty performance
and parents feedback which helps the
management and administration for
efficient and effective institutional
governance and improve faculty
performance.
Grievance redressal mechanism for
faculty, staff and students:
Separate grievance cell for faculty,
staff and students are functional. The
grievances are screened by Dean
Academics and the Director. They are
discussed in detail every fortnight with
the management. The grievances are
accordingly settled. However, in case
the grievances warrant immediate
redressal, same are put up to the
management and immediate action is taken
to provide relief to aggrieved faculty
members, staff and students.
The following authorities are
involved for redressal of grievances:
